Wow, I really can't believe that it has already been almost a month since I have officially became a college student. Great, right? But it's really not as easy as it looks like. Before, I thought that college will be a piece of cake and that it won't be that serious at all. But obviously, I thought wrong.
Last May 11 and 12, we had an LPEP (Lasallian Personal Effectiveness Program) or what other students call simply as an orientation. It was then where I met my so-called blockmates whom I will have to stay with and study with for months (probably years if I don't feel like shifting my program anymore).
So as a summary, I don't have problems with my courses. All of them are interesting especially INTHROP or Introduction to Anthropology. I can't help but wish that everyday will be a Monday or a Thursday so I we'll have an Anthropology class. I know Anthropology isn't that much of a topic, but believe me, with Sir Baula as a prof, my gawwwwd it's like watching a stand-up comedian perform live with added supplements of unlimited knowledge that you can always apply outside and inside the campus. Critical Thinking also challenges my mind. Although it may appear unchallenging because all we have to do is read a lot of boring articles, it is also very interesting due to the subjects and topics it covers. Also with Sir Leoncini's way of discussing and his unbelievable ways of giving examples in just a short matter of time, CRITHIN is much of a challenge rather than just a boring course. Citizenship and Governance at first may sound uninteresting and boring with all the discussions about governments, politics, laws, rules, blah blah, boring boring. But I really enjoy CITIGOV even though Sir Malbarosa often pressures us by giving us group activities which involves reporting the very next meeting. Actually, our prof in CITIGOV and CRITHIN talk and discuss as if they are our fathers, in a good way of course. Moving on to Biotechnology, Ahhh.. No arguments, this course is very interesting and enjoyable. For those who have known me personally for a long while, you are equipped with the fact that I dislike Math and Science, but things might have changed because I really do enjoy this subject. It may probably be because Sir Tayco isn't much of a killjoy (no, he really isn't a killjoy) since he's still young. I mean, he can really get along well with our talks, jokes, and whatsoever. Our PE, if you have seen in my previous post, is dancing. So I think that you are aware that I cannot truly express any feeling of immense interest to that matter. I don't dance. Even if I do, or even if I do want to, I still can't. Damn! Global Society and Theology have different stories. Don't wanna talk much about it.
Well, obviously my time is gobbled up by school works. I'm always loaded with lots of articles to read, lots of reportings and powerpoints to do, lots of research, lots of activities to do, and lots of sleep to get! College is quite harsh, I wish we can be friends. My green adventures isn't finished yet. Although it might take some time again for me to update, well.. Let's first depend on my super reliable memory. That's it for now!
